4. Homeowner Quote Requests

Homeowners voluntarily submit information when requesting a quote, contacting a contractor, using a form, or interacting with an AI-assisted lead capture feature. This information may include contact information, property or project details, photos, notes, scheduling preferences, and other information needed to evaluate the requested service.

Quote request information may be shared with the contractor or contractor organization the homeowner contacts, subject to the contractor's plan access and platform settings. Contractors may use this information to respond to the homeowner, provide estimates, schedule work, deliver services, and manage the relationship.

HandymanBeacon is not responsible for contractor actions after information is provided to them, including how a contractor communicates with homeowners, evaluates a job, provides an estimate, performs services, or stores information outside the HandymanBeacon platform.

5. Contractor Profiles

Contractor profiles are designed to help homeowners discover and evaluate local service providers. Public contractor profiles may display business information, services, service areas, photos, reviews, ratings, profile status, and other content chosen or provided by the contractor.

Contractors are responsible for ensuring that profile content they submit is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for public display. Published profile information may be indexed by search engines or viewed by visitors outside the contractor's dashboard.

6. Verified Homeowner Reviews

HandymanBeacon may support verified homeowner reviews tied to real quote requests, jobs, or review request workflows. Contractors cannot directly create verified reviews for themselves through the verified review system.

Reviews may include ratings, written feedback, submission dates, contractor profile associations, and related review request records. Reviews may be moderated before or after publication and may be displayed publicly on contractor profiles, marketplace pages, or other HandymanBeacon surfaces.

Published reviews may remain visible after submission, subject to moderation, legal obligations, platform integrity needs, and applicable rights.

7. AI-Assisted Features

HandymanBeacon may use AI-assisted features to support chatbot lead capture, automated lead routing, lead quality recommendations, business workflow suggestions, draft responses, and other contractor tools.

AI features may assist with processing information, but they do not replace human decision-making. Contractors remain responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs, confirming job details, making business decisions, and communicating accurately with homeowners.

8. Payments

Payments, subscriptions, invoices, and billing workflows are processed through Stripe. HandymanBeacon does not store full payment card information. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own privacy policy and terms.

We may store billing records, subscription status, plan details, transaction references, and related account information needed for billing, tax, accounting, compliance, support, and fraud prevention purposes.

9. Cookies And Tracking Technologies

HandymanBeacon may use cookies, local storage, pixels, log data, and similar technologies to operate and improve the platform. These technologies help us keep users signed in, protect accounts, understand service performance, prevent abuse, and measure marketplace activity.

  • Google Analytics 4, using Google tags and related cookies, used to understand aggregate website and product usage such as page views, navigation paths, device/browser information, approximate location, and referral sources.

Users may opt out of Google Analytics through Google's available browser tools. Browser settings may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although some platform features may not work properly without required cookies.
